What is the standard pour plating procedure? - serial pour mount

I really do not understand how serial dilutions prepared and how many times have you dilute and plate.

Can someone me a detailed explanation and the procedure for that?
Thank you!

  1. I do not understand the question, but I can say that the serial dilution.

Dilution is to do with a fraction of the solution, a different concentration of another. For example:

If I wear a 1-molar solution of NaCl and 0.5 mL, given that, and in 0.5 ml of water, is now a solution of 0.5 molar NaCl have. Well, if I 0.5 ml of 0.5 molar NaCl, and again on another 0.5 ml of water, I am a fresh solution of 0.25 mol NaCl .... get put, and so on.

This is the process of serial dilution - and can be used to dilute even more spectacular, all the way to things like 1x10 ^ (-10), etc.
